Description of My Curriculum tab

Solution

Using the My Curriculum tab

The My Curriculum tab of LittleLMS allows you to view the courses which you have attended, are registered for, or still need to attend. It might have an optional Important Announcement bar, an area for Notice Messages, a 'Curriculum' table, and additional optional buttons at the bottom of the tab.

1. The Important Announcement bar:

The Important Announcement bar might contain a critical system-wide message, if visible, which appears above your My Curriculum tab (just below your organization's logo).

For example, an announcement could remind all users that the site would be off-line for maintenance or that a specific training needs to be completed until a deadline. The Important Announcement bar may or may not be visible, depending if your site administrator has message to share for many users.

2. The Notice Messages area:

The Notice Messages area may contain one or more messages specifically for you. For example, it may remind you to register for a mandatory course or to provide feedback for a course. These messages show up in a yellow highlighted bar(s) at the top of your My Curriculum tab. The Notice Messages may or may not be visible depending upon if you have a personal action to take.

3. The 'My Curriculum' table contains the following fields:

  • Course: Shows all the Courses with their corresponding complexity level, for example 'Excel (Introduction)'; levels are set by your site administrator and can be anything like 'Beginner', 'Intermediate', 'Advanced' or '101', '201', etc.
TIP: Click the magnifying glass icon to view details of a particular course.
  • Family: Shows each Course family, for example 'Software' or 'Technical'; families are set by your course administrator.
TIP: Click the file folder with magnifying glass icon to filter on that particular family of courses.
  • Session: Shows some information about each Session of a Course:
- '(None available)' means that there is no Session available for that Course; as soon as your coordinator will open one or more Sessions for that Course, you will be able to register
- 'Register' is a link you should click to register to a specific Session; rush as seats in each Session are usually limited
- 'Date' shown as a link which brings you to all sessions of that course if you need to change your registration
- 'Date' shown as a text will be just a reminder of the date and time when you have attended a session of a course

TIP: Click the calendar with a pencil icon to select a session.

  • Status: Shows the status of each session:
- 'Attended' means that you have already participated in the session and that the time spent in training will be added to your total time in training.
- 'Confirmed' means that you have been registered to that session
- 'Register' is link you should click to register to a specific session; rush as seats in each session are usually limited

TIP: Click the pencil icon to register.

- 'Feedback' is a link you should click to provide Feedback about a specific Session you have attended.

TIP: Click on the title of any column to sort results for that column.

TIP: There might be optional totals for the number of hours spent in training, and maybe cost if your site administrator has allowed that option.

TIP: Click either on the start date or end date to change the date range for which you want to show the corresponding data. Click the green rollback icon to reset the date range to the current year, 1st January to 31st December.
